Meet Jonas

The filmmaker behind buzzup

I'm Jonas Buysens, a documentary filmmaker from Belgium with one obsession: making people care. Not just scroll, not just like, but actually do something.

I believe that the stories we tell shape the world we live in. That belief leads me to telling stories across Europe, always drawn to the people and causes that will leave this place a little bit better than when we arrived.

I work with a trusted team of cinematographers, editors, and producers to make every story as good as it can be. I take on a small number of organizations each year so that every story gets the attention it deserves.

Whether you're an NGO looking to amplify your impact or a business that wants to tell its story with honesty, I want to hear about it. I take on business projects to fund the impact work I believe in.
